Between 2001 and 2008, office building shell and core costs rose almost 100 percent during a time when office building rents were declining significantly after the dot com bust and slowly increased only to stall in 2008. This last office investment cycle produced a significant number of innovative projects focused on the repositioning and reuse of existing office buildings and corporate campuses rather than new development. Explore the design, economics and sustainable features of four of the most innovative of these repositioning projects and learn how those deals happened.
