This accelerated mini-course covers the key points and highlights that are usually covered ULI's regular two day course. The instructor will provide a conceptual framework to effectively prepare for and participate in real estate workouts and related negotiations. This course begins with an introduction to core negotiation tactics and best practices and quickly moves into strategy and analysis. Highlights include: determining what is really being negotiated; knowing when and how to adjust negotiation strategy and style; examples to reinforce course concepts; and "cheat sheets" to help attendees who are naturally competitive or cooperative learn to understand the other party.
