Current Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land disposal practices require land available for sale within a disposal boundary in southern Nevada to be sold at auction, beginning at fair market value. Land outside the disposal boundary, while less expensive, requires the development of new cities to serve its residents. Master developers have formed partnerships and adopted creative financing mechanisms. Hear from these developers and their approaches to managing the growing demand for housing in southern Nevada.
