Daniel Gross is a bestselling author and widely-read columnist who specializes in economic history, the links between business and politics, and the economic impact of globalization. He is a business columnist for Newsweek and writes the "Moneybox" columnist for Slate. Gross is a contributor to the "Economic View" column in the Sunday New York Times Business section. His writing also appears frequently in magazines such as New York and Wired, and he appears regularly in media outlets such as CNBC and National Public Radio. Gross is the author of several books, including: Forbes Greatest Business Stories of All Time, a New York Times and Business Week best-seller that has been translated into several languages; Bull Run: Wall Street, the Democrats and the New Politics of Personal Finance; and Generations of Corning: 150 Years in the Life of a Global Corporation. His most recent book, Pop! Why Bubbles Are Great for the Economy, was published in May 2007
